One World Film Festival

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

One World is a human rights' documentary film festival held annually in Prague (Czech Republic). It is organized by the Czech humanitarian organization People in Need, and over seven days it features about 130 documentary films from almost 40 countries. The festival organizers are trying to focus on documentaries that explore, question, and challenge the complexities of the times in which we live. Every year "One World" focuses on different human rights issues or problems. Apart from films the festival also offers other events, such as debates with filmmakers and a number of photography exhibitions. The festival is held annually in the end of April.
