One Touch of Venus

One Touch of Venus was a Broadway musical written by Kurt Weill (music), Ogden Nash (lyrics), and S. J. Perelman and Nash (book) based on the novella The Tinted Venus by Thomas Anstey Guthrie; it was directed by Elia Kazan and featured choreography by Agnes De Mille. The show opened at the Imperial Theatre on October 7, 1943 and closed on February 10, 1945 after 567 performances. The original production starred Mary Martin, Kenny Baker, and Paula Laurence.

This musical was made into a film, released in 1948, and starring Ava Gardner and Robert Walker.
