One Summer Dream is a song recorded by Electric Light Orchestra.
The song was originally track eight and completed the bands 1975 album Face the Music. It was later used as the b-side to the 1978 hit single Mr. Blue Sky. Although the gentle ballad was a fan favourite, Jeff Lynne never used the song live and it remained neglected for many years until 2000 when Lynne remastered the track and included it on the box set Flashback. The song was also played live on the "Zoom" tour. The difference between the "Flashback" version and the Face The Music version is that it's missing the second half of the orchestral intro, which contains the "so I thought...' vocals.
