"One Song Glory" is a song from the Broadway musical and 2005 movie,RENT. It is sung by one of the main characters, Roger Davis. In the movie and original Broadway production, it is sung by Adam Pascal. The purpose of the song is to reveal that Roger wants to write one great song to leave his mark on the world before he dies. In the film, the song is used as a flashback. The viewer learns that during his days in a band, he fell in love with a young heroin addict. Viewers further learn that Roger began using heroin with her. She then contracted, and subsequently gave him, HIV.
