One Schaumburg Place

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

One Schaumburg Place was an enclosed mall in Schaumburg, Illinois across from Woodfield Mall. It opened in 1991 and featured a Montgomery Ward, as well as Filene's Basement, Phar-Mor, Child World and Highland Superstore. The mall never had as many shoppers as Woodfield, its neighbor. After Montgomery Ward closed in 1997, the mall was mostly vacant. Soon after, the mall was redeveloped as The Streets of Woodfield and features a Carson Pirie Scott and Galyan's (now Dick's Sporting Goods).
