"One Hot Minute" is the title track from the Red Hot Chili Peppers 1995 sixth studio album of the same name. It begins with a distorted guitar and bass intro which lasts for around 20 seconds before becoming a funk metal song, laden with sexual references, which was typical of the band at this point in their career. At 6:23, it is one of the longest tracks on the album, as well as one of the longest songs the band have recorded. The liner notes feature extra lyrics that were removed from the song, most likely due to the length. The song ends with a long build-up which lasts for just over a minute with the guitars becoming distorted after this build up. A man is then heard screaming, sounding as if he is in some sort of extreme pain.
