Kim & Greg wake up and find Dominic & Logan sitting at the kitchen table waiting for their breakfast. Greg is angry that Jimmy & Christine sleep in while they make their kids breakfast. He goes out to the guesthouse to yell at them, but find them having sex.

The Hughes & Warners go to a carnival. The Hughes see a fish game and Kim decides that Sammy needs a pet. So Greg tries to win him a fish by getting a ball in a fish bowl and misses and is down to his last ball. Jimmy walks up and throws the last one in and wins Sam his fish. Sammy names his fish “fishy”. Greg suggested Jimmy because he’s worth a quarter and lives in a house he doesn’t own.

The next morning Greg discovers that the fish died. Sammy wonders where the fish is. Greg tells him he will buy him a new fish and lots of candy. Kim on the other hand tells him it is ok to be sad or cry. Greg yells at her and Kim tells him Sam needs to deal with his true emotions. They argue over what way is correct. They say they will talk about it that night. At the office Jimmy tells Greg that he will never wins any arguments so he should just take a dive and tell Kim that she is right and get to the makeup sex. Greg says no, but later that night he tells Kim she was right and that he is sorry and didn’t think things through. Kim tells Greg to go down to the pet shop and buy a new fish. Greg says what happens if it dies. Kim says they’ll just handle its her way. Greg says all fish are different so they have to study the situation. Kim asks whether he agreed or not, he says no because he took a dive. Greg said he lied because he never wins.

Greg tells Christine what happened and she suggests he should just do what Jimmy does and take a dive. He says he already did and asked her why she didn’t care that Jimmy takes dives. She said because they get to the makeup sex faster. Christine suggests Greg takes another dive. Greg says no and goes back upstairs. Greg tells Kim that Christine suggested he take another dive, but he isn’t going to do that. He apologies for taking a dive. Kim says she isn’t going to fall for that again. Greg says he doesn’t have time to argue because he has to get up early for work unlike someone else which makes Kim even angrier.
