This 175 metre tall tower is the first residential skyscraper proposed by property developer Beetham for London.
Situated in the London Borough of Southwark overlooking Blackfriars Bridge it has been designed by Ian Simpson Architects. The scheme consists of a mixed use tower split into hotel and residential areas. The hotel which has been leased by Jumeirah, will take up the bottom half of the tower with apartments filling the top. Crowning the tower is a public observation platform.
The building has been nicknamed "the boomerang" thanks to the similarity the curving profile has.
