One is a song composed by the rock band Creed. It is off their 1997 album My Own Prison. This song is about unity. It describes the lack of unity in our society today.
The song also deals with the subject of Affirmative Action and how it only helps to separate the society even more than it is.
It was the band's fourth single. Likely, it had much to do with One-World Government ideals.
"One" is the only song off Creed's first album that charted on the Billboard Hot 100.
