One-club man

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A one-club man is a term used to describe a football player who has played his entire professional career with only one club. In the strictest definition, one-club men are rare in football, due to the tendency of players to move for financial reasons or to play at a lower level in order to prolong their careers. One-club men often become club captain at some point in their career.
