[edit] License tagging for Image:Izmitwinter.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Izmitwinter.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:08, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Please dont delete photos i upload here as tr.wikipedia.org did without asking.. Just for this reason i left vikipedi because they siply deleted all meterials and photos i use THAT BELONG TO ME, they never ask, never want me to prove, they just deleted..
For this reason i hate Turkish Vikipedi, because they are just fighting with helpers, never appreciate what we do, i closed my id there, i cleaned my all contributions, and i NEVER NEVER NEVERwill accept their apologize..
ALL PHOTOS HERE I UPLOADED, TAKEN BY MY HAND, MY OWN CAMERA
how i can add copyright tag as you wish ??. just tell me this.. i will do that..
Because soon i will upload more then 200 photos and I DONT WANT TO HAVE TROUBLE AGAIN..
The help page is very confuse.--Onder K. 18:41, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Onderk. If they are photos you have taken yourself, and in which you own the copyright, then you can re-license them with a suitable licence - usually {{GFDL-self}} or {{PD-self}}. You can add the tag while uploading the photos, or immediately afterwards. Just add, for example, {{GFDL-self}} to the image description page, or select it from the dropdown while uploading. There is a different answer if you do not hold the copyright, or if you do not want to allow others to use and modify your photos. -- zzuuzz (talk) 20:32, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] İzmit
You wrote, "İzmit is a center province of Kocaeli". I'm pretty sure that İzmit is actually a city, it being the capital of Kocaeli Province. What are your sources? Khoikhoi 02:34, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy Deletion Warning
A tag has been placed on Balaban K., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to add more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Redlock 02:38, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Source is me
I am Onder Karakadılar, i am in izmit right now and living here till 37 years. izmit is a province. Check please http://tr.wikipedia.org as Kocaeli then izmit. I created those pages too and also uploaded photos. Thanks for your interest --Onder K. 02:41, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I checked tr:İzmit, Kocaeli, which says "İzmit Kocaeli ilinin merkez ilçesidir." Also, tr:Kocaeli (il) says, "Kocaeli ili adını, 1320 senesinde İzmit ve havalisini fetheden Akça Kocadan alır." I'm sure you know the difference between a şehir and an il...right? Khoikhoi 02:50, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yes this is true, İzmit Kocaeli ilinin merkez ilçesidir = izmit is Kocaeli City center province is directly translation (izmit is center province of Kocaeli City).. Kocaeli is city (il), izmit is province (ilçe).. Akça Koca got izmit and its area. (ahali=area aroun it) Kocaeli=izmit is wrong.. Kocaeli is all area and City (kode: 41) include (İzmit Derince Gebze Gölcük Kandıra Karamürsel Körfez ) as shown in Districts of Kocaeli table.. For example izmit has no Trafical code. Kocaeli kode is 41 in Turkey..

No problem. :-) By "managers", I assume you mean administrators? (yöneticiler) I'm not sure why the Turkish admins deleted your articles—have you tried discussing it with them? I know that Ugur Basak is an admin on Vikipedi. Anyways, keep in mind that Wikipedia has a policy against original research, and articles are supposed to be based on verifiable and reliable sources. Saying, "source is me" is unfortunately not good enough. Perhaps you can find sources such as the Turkish government—once you've done that, you can add it to your articles.
Secondly, your English is pretty good, but can you please explain to someone who doesn't speak Turkish (me) what the difference is between şehir and il? If you want to prove that İzmit is a province and Kocaeli is a city, please cite your sources. Thanks! :-) Khoikhoi 03:25, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hmmm. Yes, Turkish literature was mainly written by Saposcat, who is a very good editor (and coincidentally lives in İzmit). I am sorry that the admin deleted your article—what is his name? This seems to be a violation of WP:BITE ("lütfen yeni kullanıcıları ısırmayınız"). What I recommend is that you talk to some of the Turkish editors here, who could perhaps contact this admin on Vikipedi. I noticed that you've already met Mustafa and Barış.
- So basically, Kocaeli is an ilçe and İzmit is an il? Wouldn't that make il a part of ilçe? As for şehir, I'm guessing it's a replaced loanword. I noticed the following from the Ottoman Turkish language article:
-
English Ottoman Modern Turkish necessary واجب vâcib zorunlu problem مشکل müşkül sorun city شهر şehir kent
- "Balaban Köyü" is the correct spelling, but perhaps since this is the English Wikipedia, it might be better to use "village" instead. Barış apperas to have already moved the page.
[edit] Balaban K.
Hosgeldin! Baristarim 04:35, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] İspat
- KhoiKhoi, herşeyi gayet iyibiliyor.Sizden kanıt falan da istediği yok. Siz İzmit'e yanlışlıkla Kocaelinin merkez Province'si demişsiniz. Şimdi düzeldi.Barış ta Kocaeli Province olarak taşıdı.No problem. Mailinizi kontrol edin.SelamMustTC 05:01, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Baristarim 06:43, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
