On Broadway, XM Satellite Radio channel 28, features showtunes from both past and present shows. In spite of its name, the channel also plays songs from off-Broadway shows, as well as those from shows from countries other than the United States. It is produced entirely by XM, and originates from XM's studios at Jazz at Lincoln Center in Manhattan.

On Broadway's current Program Director is John Von Soosten, a former on-air personality on WNSW in Newark, New Jersey. He replaced the channel's original PD, "Broadway Bill" Schmalfeldt.

Downstage Center, a weekly interview program, is produced in conjunction with the American Theatre Wing, with which the channel has a long-standing association. The program airs on Fridays at 6:00 p.m., with encores airing Saturdays at noon, Sundays at 7:00 p.m., and Wednesdays at 12:00 a.m (all times Eastern).

On Broadway is also available on DirecTV channel 823.
