Wellington Olympic AFC is a soccer team in Wellington, New Zealand.

Commonly known as 'The Greeks', the club was formed in 1953 by Greek immigrants as Apollon AFC, and it is that group that forms the basis of the club's support still today, as well as a significant number of players.

The club joined the Central Region League at Division Two level for the 1970 season, finishing a modest 8th out of 10 teams. Despite a brief spell in Division Three in later years, Olympic hovered around Divisions Two and One until they secured promotion to the Premier Division in the 1991 season. They were then involved in the National League in 1993, finishing 6th out of 8 teams.

In 1995 the club won another honour, this time winning the Central Superclub Plate before finishing 10th out 12 teams in the newly revamped North Island League in 1999. This was followed by a spell in the Capital Premier Division competition between the years of 2000 and 2004 (inclusive), before the club re-entered the Central Premier League for the 2005 season, finishing a creditable 2nd. Last season (2006) saw the club finish in 4th place.

Possibly the most well-known player to come out of the club in recent years was Leo Bertos who signed professional terms with Barnsley FC in England before spells with Rochdale FC, Worksop Town FC and then Perth Glory in Australia.

The club currently plays at Newtown Park in Wellington and is managed by Shane Heathcote in the Central Premier League.
