Olympiacos have a women volleyball team as well which was founded in 1992. Contrary to the men team, women of Olympiacos have never done anything good in the greek league and they were always between the first (A1) and the second (A2) division up to 2006, when the team regenerated and now they are considered amongst the top greek clubs.
