Dr Curry did not make these predictions in a programme - nor did he conduct any new research on this topics - he was asked to write a speculative essay ("think piece") for Bravo.

You can check this on Dr Curry's webpage...

If anyone sees "Bravo" and thinks therefore that he made these predictions in a programme - well you are wrong. Please don't edit this aspect of the page when you don't know anything about the where the predictions were actually made. Pound 19:42, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

I removed the sentence that said oliver curry's recent theory contradicts the Race of the Future Theory because if you read this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/6057734.stm you'll see that it agrees with the Race of the Future Theory initially but then expects a splitting of the (now single colored) species.

To quote: "[In the next 1000 years]... racial differences will be ironed out by interbreeding, producing a uniform race of coffee-coloured people.... Further into the future [(~10,000 years)], sexual selection - being choosy about one's partner - was likely to create more and more genetic inequality, said Dr Curry. The logical outcome would be two sub-species, "gracile" and "robust" humans similar to the Eloi and Morlocks foretold by HG Wells in his 1895 novel The Time Machine."
