I removed the following sentence: 'Her writing and playing (piano) both demonstrate a strong sense of melody, rhythm and an overall high degree of musicality, making her music both refreshing and moving'. This is an opinion and has no place in this article. --General Hard 12:52, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

I think something needs to be done about thsi sentence too, to maintain fact (if indeed it is factual, I don't know this singer) and remove POV "Oleta Adams' smooth sumptuous contralto voice has become the vanguard in an R&B jazz segment that was largely vacant during Anita Baker's hiatus." I'm not removing the whole thing as I can't comment on her style. High Heels on Wet Pavement 14:51, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
