Oliegh Jur'ievitch At'kov (born May 5, 1949 in Khvorostyanka, Kuybyshev Oblast, Russian SFSR) is a Russian cosmonaut. He is married with one child.
He graduated from the First Medical Institute "Ivan M. Sietchienov" Moscow in 1973 and received a doctorate of medicine in cardiology from the Academy of Medical Science in 1978.
He was selected as a cosmonaut on March 9, 1983.
Atkov flew as Doctor Cosmonaut on Soyuz T-10.
He spent 236 days 22 hours 49 minutes in space.
Atkov retired on October 2, 1984.He then joined the institute of Clinical Cardiology. From 1989 to 1996 he was Deputy Director of the Department of Space Life Science of the International Space University in Strasbourg, France. He currently works as a specialist for telemedicine with the European Commission.
