Hi folks! I am a 55 year old veteran of the Vietnam War, with degrees in history, paralegal studies, literature and human science, (a unique degree the university of Houston offered for a time, which emphasized all phases of human science, psychology, anthropology, history, sociology, et al). My interests range up from the Roman Empire to post WWII America and the so called "hippie" movement.

I hope to contribute something positive. If I irritate someone, please come talk to me, and I will try to resolve it without unpleasantness. If we cannot, oh well. I believe this project is the greatest internet idea since the invention of the net, and we have a chance, all of us, to make this the greatest single repository of knowledge of all time.

Quote of the day: "God must have loved fools, he made so many."

Afterthought: "It only takes one great person to lead 10,000 fools to wisdom..."
