[edit] Purpose
{{oldtfd}}
Records that the labelled template has survived a nomination at WP:TFD.
[edit] Usage
{{subst:oldtfd|year month day}}
year month day should be the full date which the TFD result is logged under [[Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion/Log/]]
. The template itself will add an anchor going directly to the entry. Note that this format will only work for templates nominated after January 2006!
This template should be substituted.
[edit] Example
{{oldtfd|2006 March 2}} (note that anchor does not work in example)
This template was considered for deletion on {{{date}}}. The result of the [[Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Log/{{{date}}}#2006 March 2|discussion]] was keep. |
[edit] History
- Created by Phil | Talk 16:28, May 10, 2005 (UTC)
- Modified by -- nae'blis (talk) 20:09, 8 March 2006 (UTC) to point correctly to the new daily log format.
- Sadly, breaking hundreds of pages in the process, which I have done my best to repair. --William Allen Simpson
[edit] Discussion
Now I feel kind of dumb for fixing this - has it been deprecated in favor of {{tfd-kept}}? -- nae'blis (talk) 17:05, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- Dunno, should be discussed at Wikipedia talk:Templates for deletion#Notes on talk pages.

- Well, this is oldtfd. But redirecting the others didn't work, as the parameters don't match, something you'd have noticed by actually checking your work....
- BTW, the discussion didn't "stall" it was replaced by a later discussion!
