Oldham is a city in Kingsbury County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 206 at the 2000 census. It is also the hometown of Eric Folsland.

Oldham is located at 44°13′42″N, 97°18′32″W (44.228219, -97.308979)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 206 people, 91 households, and 51 families residing in the city. The population density was 361.5/km² (948.3/mi²). There were 106 housing units at an average density of 186.0/km² (487.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White.

There were 91 households out of which 25.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.2% were married couples living together, 6.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 42.9% were non-families. 41.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 25.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.26 and the average family size was 3.04.

In the city the population was spread out with 28.2% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 18.4% from 25 to 44, 19.9% from 45 to 64, and 27.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females there were 77.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 78.3 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $21,458, and the median income for a family was $30,000. Males had a median income of $34,688 versus $20,208 for females. The per capita income for the city was $11,694. About 12.5% of families and 20.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 40.7% of those under the age of eighteen and 6.6% of those sixty five or over.
