The Olathe Unified School District (Kansas Unified School District 233) is one of the major school districts in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. As of 2006, the district comprises 4 high schools, 8 junior high schools, and 31 elementary schools.

The Olathe School District is currently under the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Patricia All, Associate Superintendent Dr. Alison Banikowski and Assistant Superintendents Dr. Gary George and Dr. Bob Hull.

The Olathe Board of Education is currently under the leadership of President Kevin P. Gilmore and Vice President Linda Wilhelm. Other board members include Rita Ashley, Jim Churchman, Dr. Bob Drummond, Harlan Parker, and Mike Poland.
