Olaine is a town in Latvia. Near Olaine is peatbog which was first used in 1940. Later many factories were built near there and workers of them needed a place to live so the first living houses were built in Olaine. Early Olaine was name of village 2km away from Olaine, now called Jaunolaine(New Olaine).
