Stig Kjell Olof (Ola) Ullsten (born June 23, 1931) is a Swedish liberal politician, and the former party leader of the Swedish Liberal People's Party. He served as the Prime Minister of Sweden from 1978 to 1979, heading a minority government consisting of Liberal party ministers after the centre-right coalition government between the Centre Party, the Liberal People's Party and the Moderate Party broke down because of disagreements over energy policy. After the 1979 parliamentary elections he served as Minister for Foreign Affairs in the three-party centre-right government under Thorbjörn Fälldin. He has later served as the Swedish Ambassador to Canada, Italy and the Holy See.
