Stimpy suddenly becomes a great singer, and therefore famous. Eventually, Stimpy finds out what makes him sing well - his nose. His nose is fed up with Stimpy taking all the credit for his voice and so leaves Stimpy for a career of his own.

- Stimpy's professional singing name is "Frank Snotra", an obvious send-up to singer Frank Sinatra, as well as the episode lampooning a few of his hits ("Come fly with me/Let's fly, let's fly away" becomes "Come fry with me/Let's fry, let's fry an egg."

The Sidekick Union has a strike, meaning Stimpy refuses to work until Ren treats him with respect. As Ren does not want to do this, he has auditions for new sidekicks - with all the applicants doing exactly the opposite of what Ren wants.
