State Highway 40A is an 0.4-mile-long (0.6 km) highway in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It is the shortest state highway in the system, and the only highway with a lettered suffix to no longer have a "parent" (OK-40 was absorbed by U.S. Route 177).

The highway runs from U.S. 177 to the town of Carney, Oklahoma. It has a 25 mph (40 km/h) speed limit.
