The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation was founded in 1944 with the support of the University of Oklahoma Medical School Alumni Association (OMRF). It is one of the oldest independent research institutes in the country. It is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The foundation's most notable findings are related to autoimmune diseases, specifically lupus.
