Ojibway Provincial Park

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ojibway Provincial Park is an example of a prairie in Windsor, Ontario next to Ojibway Park. It has many wildflower species including the Michigan Lily. It is among the last remaining lots of tall grass prairie in all of Southern Ontario that have not been converted to agriculture or [[subdivisions. It is an officially-designated nature preserve and is home to a herd of deer, many of which can be seen if one is quiet, and looking carefully. It is across Matchette Road from the City of Windsor-operated "Ojibway Park".
