[edit] Story
Missing her "Moms" (Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu, and Momoko) so much, Hana-chan uses her magic to grow up to their age and goes to school with them and becomes an ojamajo herself due to the loss of her powers after such enormous magic. Additionally, the Maho Dou is also turned into an accessory shop. Hana-chan must now take the same tests the ojamajo themselves had taken before, at right around the same time as Poppu.
The six of them attempt to save the former queen, who is sleeping because of her sad memories. The sad memories spread to different worlds: wizards, witches and even humans, causing the people caught by the depression to feel sad, and possibly fall into an eternal sleep. With the help of Hana-chan's little elephant, Pao-chan, Hana-chan can play a special accordion while dancing with Pao-chan who will then swallow up the curse a few seconds later.
[edit] Key theme of the series
Clothes and accessories have become an important theme to this series. The Maho Dou is now an acessory shop. In the shop, there is a beaded jewellery maker used to make bracelets, a tapestry machine, a spinning wheel used to make threads and a machine used to roll up ribbons. The eyecatches also feature related accessories to the series as well. A sling pouch can be seen in one of these eyecatches.
[edit] Conclusion of the series
Ojamajo Doremi Dokkān is the end of the series. After Doremi and the girls wake up the Ancient Queen in the end, the Queen reveals her true personality as Yuki-sensei and asks the girls to make a decision: becoming witches or returning to the human world. Doremi in the name of all her friends says that they prefer to go on living as humans even though they must renounce to their mystical powers. They split from Hana, who becomes the new Queen of Majokai, and prepare for their last day at Misora Elementary School. In the last chapter, Doremi feels very sad, because she doesn't want to separate from her friends, and instead of going to school she stays in Maho-Do. All of her schoolmates go to visit her and remember how nice she was and the good things she did, and Kotake his friend that was always chasing her admits that he likes her(it was very indirectly). It's only Hana in the end who makes Doremi go out, or else she will reveal her magic powers. The last scenes are from the girls retrieving their degree at Misora Elementary School with the song "Watashi no Tsubasa" (ending of Dokkan) as ambient music. Hazuki attends the Karen school, an all-girls academy, Aiko returns to Osaka with her parents, Onpu attends a private school for entertainers, Momoko to New York, and Hana to Majokai. Although they are separated for now, Doremi is no longer sad, as she said to herself, "I'm already not the world's most unfortunate girl, I'm just the happiest girl in the world...."
The last scene takes place some times later, in which Doremi, now a junior high school student(as she is wearing a school uniform) rushes to the beach and meets with a boy(his face is not shown, so we don't know who he is). Doremi hands the boy a present as a sign of her love to him, which means that her main purpose in becoming a witch in the first place has been fulfilled, then the scene changes to a black screen with the words "Thank You" written in white, with Doremi's voice "Arigatou"(lit. Thank you).
[edit] Henshin
The girls (except Hana-chan) each press the button on the magical tap (a kind of perfume bottle) twice to activate the transformation. The gloves appear one at a time, and they spin around for the costume and boots. They nod for the hat, and say their post-henshin chant.
For Hana-chan, she uses a compact mirror to transform, but the compact mirror needs the girls' magic first in order for her to transform. The girls first hold their wands horizontally, touch the tips of the wands and say, "Give Hana-chan energy!" A ball of rainbow magic is emitted from the wands and shoots for the compact mirror. Hana-chan then opens it and pushes the button at the centre. After activating the button, a pink bag appears. A white and yellow dress and a two pointed hat comes out of the bag and Hana-chan puts the dress on. She turns around once and the gloves and boots appear one at a time. She puts the hat on and her tap gets attached to her witch dress. Finally, she says her post-transformation speech.
It should also be noted that Hana-chan transforms by herself in episode 11.
[edit] Magical Items and usage
Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu and Momoko use a wand called a "Jewellery Poron". When using normal magic, they hold their wands upright and say their magical incantations. When using Magical Stage, a crystal ball is shown. The girls then turn around once and say their spell. They hold their wands upright and touch the tips of their wands. They say "Magical Stage!" and streams of magic appear. The streams of magic are then formed into a ribbon bow.
For Hana-chan, she can use magic with her magical gloves. She crosses one hand over the other and say her incantation. Next she rolls her hands and pink-colored rings appear. She will then show in front of her and the magic will react to her desired command. It is also noted that Hana-chan does not need to use Magical Stage as she is a full-blooded witch.
