[edit] free dance

Please put it into the appropriate category in the relevant lists (I guess it woud be pages 20th century concert dance and List of dance style categories, but I assume you know better). Mikkalai 18:26, 2 Jun 2004 (UTC),

no you were right, all done! Ohka- 11:30, 3 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou! for working on dance-related articles. The very little I remember from college is just enough to annoy me that we don't have decent coverage (the fact that you just recently created en pointe is startling enough), but not enough to be able to write decent articles myself without lots of research. So many kudos from me, and keep up the good work... -- Seth Ilys 17:15, 3 Jul 2004 (UTC)

To create subpages in you userspace you can use the form user:username/subpage. I have moved your Ohka- to do to User:Ohka-/to do for you. Dunc_Harris| 15:13, 5 Jul 2004 (UTC)

[edit] I'm going to start helping too

I just noticed what a sorry state all the dance related articles were in, so I figured I'd start categorizing and researching to see what information I can add. Glad to see someone else is, and I love your biblography. I'll be working on the categorizing for awhile- let's get this organized! Lyellin 11:54, Jul 27, 2004 (UTC)

that's great!, what do you think we could do to help each other out? any game plan suggestions Ohka-
I think the wikiproject idea is great (was actually thinking about that myself), but I have no idea how to go about starting one up, so I've been cautious to go ahead with it. Once I went through Ballet and tried categorizing, I realized how much Ballroom dancing needed... those are the only two I've looked at, although I suspect there are more in the dance section itself that need help. Lyellin 07:50, Aug 3, 2004 (UTC)
The Wikiproject page already has a red link for Dance, so I think I will create that with the basic template, and we'll start going through. I do believe we'll have to create descendent projects for some of the major forms of dance... and perhaps different forms for dancers, shows, choerographers, etc. Regardless, we'll talk about it there? Lyellin 08:05, Aug 3, 2004 (UTC)
Try Wikipedia:WikiProject_Dance. Just started it with the template.

[edit] Question about this photo

Did you take the picture yourself? Do you have any others out there - it looks great, and since I am also a hobby-dance-photographer... (http://gallery.dekay.org) I am always looking for other dance pics ;) dekay 10:07, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Chorea

Hi, User:Defrenrokorit introduced confusion into articles. Now we have four of them: Chorea, Chorea (dance), Chorea (disease), Chorea (disambiguation), all of them started their own diverging lifes. I suggest to kill one of them. Since the decease is most common usage of the word today, I suggest to make Chorea a decease article and forget Chorea (disease). In order to keep autorship I suggest the following complicated sequence.

 • Revert Chorea (disambiguation) to vrsion before Defrenkorit.
 • Move Chorea to Chorea/temp
 • Move Chorea (disambiguation) to Chorea
 • Make a new, simple Chorea (disambiguation).
 • Introduce your edits into Chorea.

I can do it all by myself, of leave the last step to you (if you wish to keep the authorsip). Your opinion? Mikkalai 03:34, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)

hello, i agree with what you are saying, i added the info to show that the terms all come from the same root, there really shouldn't be so many pages, just Chorea and Chorea (dance) it's a bit compliated so i'll let you do it (feeling clumsy at the moment). i'm really not bothered about loosing authorship, what good for wikipidea is good for me! thanks Ohka- 15:29, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Circle dance

Can you take a look at Circle dance? It was pretty biased. I straightened a bit, but still something must be done. Mikkalai 04:01, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Image at dance page

The image is listed for deletion, because it is under a non-free license. Since you are the author, you may want to reconsider its level of licensing. Mikkalai 22:11, 1 Oct 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Article Licensing

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)
