Oh! great

Oh! great, written in kanji as Ito Ōgure (大暮維人, Ōgure Ito^?, February 22, 1972) is a mangaka (manga artist).

He is most well-known for the Tenjho Tenge and Air Gear series'. In particular, Oh! great's manga is known for his beautifully drawn layouts and buxom half-naked women. Notably, he also created the Silky Whip series, a "hentai" series currently available in English.

His manga is drawn with sharp and clean lines. Most of his plots feature killing and ecchi. He also likes using English words in his manga, such as Air Gear, where all the skating techniques have been given English names.

His pseudonym "Oh! great" is a play on words: his name written in Japanese order (family name then given name) is "Ōgure Ito", which is pronounced like the Japanese rendering of the English words "Oh great" [oːgɯɺ̠eːto].

Some of his other (non-manga) work includes some of the alternate character outfits in the PlayStation 2 version of Namco's 3D fighting game Tekken 5.
