OghamWiki

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ogham is designed to be a wiki-like web content management system (CMS) for non technical users. The emphasis is on ease of use over features. Because non-technical users have difficulty with any markup language the developer, Sean O'Donnell, decided to provide a WYSIWYG editor. Because Microsoft Word users find wiki syntax and the automatic generation of links to be annoying, this was then replaced with a tree structure for navigation and easy linking within the host website.

Ogham has currently only been tested on Linux servers and with the Firefox 1.0 and Konqueror 3.3.2 browsers. The developer is working on support for Internet Explorer. In KHTML (Konqueror & Safari) based browsers WYSIWYG editing is not available as these browsers do not currently support it.
