Oeagrus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Oeagrus pronunciation? (Oeager) in Greek mythology was a king of Thrace. He and the muse Calliope were possibly the parents of Orpheus and Linus. He was also sometimes called the father of Marsyas.

He is sometimes called the son of Ares, but other times Charops is mentioned as his father, which explains his inheritance of the throne.
