Odlaw

Odlaw is "mean, nasty, loathsome and disgusting". His number of good deeds are few and all he cares about is getting his hands on Waldo's magic walking stick. His wardrobe includes a black and yellow striped shirt, black pants, boots, dark glasses, yellow and black bobbled hat, and a slick moustache. Odlaw comes from the Odlaw Swamp, where hundreds of other Odlaws live.
Odlaw first appeared in 1991 in the book Where's Waldo?: The Magnificent Poster Book!.
Odlaw's name comes from "Waldo", the name of the main character and his nemesis, spelled backwards. He features the stereotypical "evil-counterpart" traits, mirroring Waldo's appearance but in dark black/yellow colors and with a moustache. In the international translations of the franchise, where Waldo is known as Wally, the name Odlaw has little meaning - despite Waldo's name being changed, Odlaw's remains the same.

Odlaw's Mother was shown in the episode The Unfriendly Giants. Even though he is her son, like most people, she does not like the pitiful Odlaw.
- Odlaw’s Mother: Odlaw, my boy! There you are.
- Odlaw: Mummy, what are you doing here?
- Odlaw’s Mother: I’m here because you never write, you never call, and you never visit!
- Odlaw: Mummy, I can explain...
- Odlaw’s Mother: Don’t, I like it that way.
