  • Hong Kong workers will grow poorer next year as their projected average pay increase will lag behind inflation. The Employers' Federation of Hong Kong said Wednesday the average pay hike for the public should be less than 2.5 percent next year. Meanwhile, economists forecast the inflation rate to hit 3 percent. [3]
