There were a total of 4,737 students enrolled in the Ocean Springs School District during the 2005-2006 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 50% female and 50% male. The racial makeup of the district was 10% African American, 84% White, 2% Hispanic, 4% Asian and less than 1% Native American.[1]
