Ocean Pacific

Ocean Pacific is a surf clothing company based in Irvine, California, USA. It began as a surfboard label in the 1960s, the apparel line appearing in 1972. Founder Jim Jenks of San Diego California wanted to create clothing that met the demands of surfers in and out of the surf. Ocean Pacific quickly became the name of the surf beach culture with its instantly recognizable "OP" logo. The company is still in operation, and sponsors surfing competitions and supports musicians. The company has sponsored more world surfing champions than any other brand, including Tom Curren and Kelly Slater.

The Ocean Pacific brand went through a rocky financial patch through the 1990's but emerged and reinvented itself to impress a distinctively organic feel upon its products. My Surf Brands
