I am a former employee, the fire alarm is turned off if it sounds, and staff are ordered by Gist section managers to continue working while the alarm is investigated.
[edit] Warehouse practices
I read an article in, if I remember correctly, the Sunday Times, which was about warehouse practices in the UK, and the lack of health and safety which existed. Ocado's name was there, so I added this to the article.
If someone can help me track down the article, or knows of it, then it would be great if they could add the source.
