From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

y=\frac{\sqrt{9-x^2}}{\sqrt{9-x^2}}-1;  x=\frac{\sqrt{9-y^2}}{\sqrt{9-y^2}}-1
(x\pm2)^2+(y\pm2)^2=1.5^2, x\in(-3, 3)
So what if I'm a geek :)

Hi, I'm Goran Obradovic, student of economics mathematics from Belgrade, Serbia.

My first language is Serbian. I speak English, and I am able to communicate in German.

My primary interests are physics, history, and philosophy.

I'm an author of Internet site Serbian Coat of Arms.

I am an ambassador of Serbian Wikipedia on English Wikipedia. Feel free to contact me if you need to communicate with Serbian users who don’t speak English. You may also ask me to translate certain articles from English to Serbian (and vice versa), and I will do it if and when I have spare time.

I first found Wikipedia in October/November 2003. Since then I’ve been active, but mostly on Serbian Wikipedia, since I felt that this project in Serbian needed much support (it was barely started back then). Number of articles on Serbian Wikipedia is now counted in thousands, and we have a growing Serbian community, so I think that now I can afford to invest more of my spare time in work on en: .

Up to now my edits on en: were mostly about interwiki links between sr: and en: . I have translated a few of the articles from Serbian, and posted them on English Wikipedia (Desanka Maksimović, Jovan Dučić, Aleksandar Đorđević, Goran Petrović, Miloš Crnjanski, Paja Jovanović, Uroš Predić, Coat of Arms of Slovakia, Serbian enclave in Orahovac, Coat of arms of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, Fikret Abdić ...), significantly expanded the article about Arso Jovanović and made a number of edits on articles about Serbian culture, history and geography.

If time allows me, in near future I plan to translate more of the great articles from Serbian Wikipedia, and put them on en: , and to write an article about Henry McIver, one of the most famous soldier of fortune of XIX century (a man who fought under 18 flags), and Serbian general-de-brigade (oddly, I haven’t found article about him on Wikipedia, so I suppose that it doesn’t exist yet). I still don’t know on which articles I will work after that – I don’t want to make long-term plans – I like to let the inspiration carry me from one topic to another :) One is certain – work on Wikipedia brings joy to me, and you can count on my presence in years to come ;)

Some of the articles I've started:

National Bank of Serbia, 63. padobranska brigada, Coat of Arms of Belgrade, Onamo, 'namo!
