  • Uh... are we sure about the historical background here? "Atheist Liberation Front" gets no Google hits, there doesn't seem to be any evidence of "anti-Presbyterian riots" in Guadalajara, Mexico, and "Gordon Schumweg" sounds suspiciously like a certain cat-munching sitcom alien. Ditto here, I agree. This URL shows the actual site creator was Lyle Zapato:

I tend to believe the Wikipedia entry that the site is a hoax, but it'd be nice if they justified this with references. I'm especially worried when people buy into hoaxes like this, because it exacerbates the misunderstanding between cultures. Solid facts are the right antidote.

[edit] =============

I added a section about the infiltration of the website's guestbook today. RegBarc 01:26, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

I'm also changing the picture. The pictures in the "kidz" section are much more...interesting, and capture the attitude of the site better. RegBarc 17:37, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Would it be appropriate to add a section with information about this article in The Register, or perhaps this at slashdot? They both link to the old webpage of this website, but it should be easily verifiable that these are indeed the same articles and thus the same creator.Bjorneven 22:07, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

With no evidence that it isnt a hoax site, we run the same risk of being incorrect.--203.59.166.123 12:22, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Acronym

The "OBJECTIVE" seems like it might stand for something. Does anyone know if it's intended as an acronym, if so and what for?
