Obihiro (帯広市; -shi) is a city located in Tokachi, Hokkaido, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 171,557 and the density of 277.18 persons per km². The total area is 618.94 km².

The city was founded on April 1, 1933.

The city contains the headquarters of the fifth division of the northern army of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.

It also hosts the Rally Japan World Rally Championship-event.
