Oberhasli (district)

Oberhasli district in Canton Bern

The Oberhasli district is the easternmost of the 26 districts of the Canton of Bern, Switzerland. It has an area of 550 km². It encompasses the upper watershed of the Aare, including the Haslital, before it flows into Lake Brienz near Meiringen, the administrative capital. Oberhasli comprises six municipalities:

Bordering on Oberhasli are Uri to the east, Unterwalden to the north, the Valais to the south, and the district of Interlaken to the west.
