Oberek

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The oberek, also called obertas or ober, is a lively Polish dance. "Oberek" in Polish means "to hop and turn", and this is exactly what the dance is. It is performed at a much quicker pace than the Polish waltz and is one of the national dances of Poland. This is the second-most popular dance in Polish-American music, after the polka.
