[edit] WP:A-League userbox

Hey. I understand you are very good at making userboxes and templates. If so, I was wondering if you could do a massive favour for me. I'm not good with making userboxes and I feel one is needed for WP:A-League. If you are interested leave a message on my talk page. Normy 07:11, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks heaps man. Alright in the box I'll need "This user is a member of WikiProject A-League". In the logo I wouldn't mind having "A-L". For the colours I'd like yellow text with a orange background on the logo and on the box I'd like orange text with an yellow background. When its done can you put it on my talk page? Thanks heaps again. Normy 08:55, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Fan-freakin'-tastic mate. Kudos and much thanks! Normy 09:09, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 2006 Raw/Smackdown results

Sorry, I am a new user to this site. I was wondering what was wrong with the pages I was trying to create. My thinking was; the PPV results are all posted, why not post the matches leading up to the PPV? -- Countryrocker87, 15:20 PM, June 6, 2006

[edit] Wrestling vote

Hiya Oakster. Over at the wrestling project page Lakes has initiated a vote, as to whether Canada/Oz/NZ/UK should have metric or imperial first. Do you think you could spare the time to pop over and vote, Yorkie?;o)regards(Halbared 09:29, 7 June 2006 (UTC))

[edit] I Respect You

I respect you as fellow Wikipedian/Human. I view as friend for helping revert back bad anon edits and making edit I wouldn't think of. Thanks BionicWilliam

[edit] SummerSlam

The articles were titles that for a reason. The name of the pay per views were all called SummerSlam, not SummerSlam YEARNAME. Proper disambiguation is not renaming the pay per view. All of them are being reverted. I would prefer you create redirects to the article than mass move pages again. — The King of Kings 23:13 June 23 '06

Thanks. — The King of Kings 13:30 June 24 '06
Well, I would rather the logo stay in the info boxes, but a poster of the article placed on the side somewhere would neaten it up a lot. If you could I would be most grateful. Cheers,, and thanks! — The King of Kings 21:31 June 26 '06
Thanks for the uploads. :D Mind me asking if there was one for 1988? — The King of Kings 16:46 June 27 '06
I dont newspaper articles would be best either, but thanks for checking at least. :) — The King of Kings 16:56 June 27 '06
*eye twitch* HAHA, I finally found the SummerSlam 1988 promotional poster. I uploaded it and placed it on the article. I also uploaded several logos of the past SummerSlams 1988 - 1994 were thier logos were all differant. I also got match times and the officals names. Now these articles are improving. :-) — The King of Kings 03:09 June 28 '06

I would try to seperate notes and trivia as much as possible. Notes would be storyline things that happen, like when Kane "no showed" his match, but in reality, he was hiding in the dumpster waiting for Mankind to lose (this happened in SummerSlam 1998). I would add a seperate section for trivia. I'm about to do that if I have any with the SummerSlam articles. The only place that really should have any kind of table format is the Royal Rumble articles and the Elimination Chamber results which take place in various pay per views. I would try to remain with a bullet format like the SummerSlam articles for the results, but table format for the Royal Rumble matches. Hopefully I can give you a hand once I'm finished with SummerSlam. :-) — The King of Kings 22:15 June 30 '06
I've looked over something and I also came to the conclusion notes should be added into the results (see articles like 1989 SummerSlam to see a minor example). I still think Trivia should be set aside to one section, but things happened during the match should definantly be with the results. Hope this helps. — The King of Kings 00:38 July 01 '06

Thats a good question. I was thinking something like:

  • SmackDown! brand - WWE Championship match: NAME def. NAME2

So basically I would put the brand name before the match type like above. If there was two brands it would be something like:

  • Interpromotional - WWE Championship match: NAME (RAW) def. NAME2 (SmackDown!)

Could I also suggest something else. Could you use the better looking list format I have going at the SummerSlam articles, it would help improve the look greatly. — The King of Kings 22:18 July 03 '06

Yes, very good. :-) I made one change to expand the table format across the page though. — The King of Kings 22:38 July 03 '06
Hopefully I'll get done with my SummerSlam articles before you finish. :D — The King of Kings 22:45 July 03 '06

[edit] SummerSlam articles

Hey Oakster, I'm going on wikibreak for a little while and I'm wondering if you could finish up 2002-2005 of the SummerSlam articles for me. I have a hard time concentrating right now and need some time away and the last thing I can do is properly finish up the series of articles. Whenevr I return, I can always look at it, but I need some time away. — The King of Kings 17:20 July 11 '06

Thanks for finishing SummerSlam 2002 while I was gone. I guess since I'm back from my break, I'll get back on top of the SummerSlam articles so I can stop pestering you :D Thanks for the congrats before I left too. :) — The King of Kings 16:11 July 14 '06

[edit] How do you know what you do about Mike Sparks?

I saw you edited Mike Sparks' page and added some nifty and personal information. How do you know that stuff? Are you just a bit wrestling fan or are you Mike, himself? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by LoweSox (talkcontribs) .

[edit] WrestleMania X8

Could you please help summarize this [1]? I keep telling him it's full of grammar errors, weasel words, and peacock terms, yet he still keeps adding it. If you could help me summarize the match to be consistent with other matches in the article I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.--3bulletproof16 21:38, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

TheTruth2 has been reported. If you would like to leave a comment concerning the situation please do so here. I find it strange that when he is referred to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling show formatting or any other guideline for that matter, he claims that he has already read them and that his edits "still follows the guidelines". Signed up just 3 days ago... Yep TJ Spyke and I are dealing with a troll here.--3bulletproof16 22:02, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Torrie Wilson Full Name Dispute

I can you help settle a dispute? My Source for here name being Torrie Anne Gruner {née Wilson) is [2] The Anon has produce no source and trying to pass them self as Mrs. Gruner herself. BionicWilliam 03:22, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Glen Jacobs

I didnt know that picture you put up was free use. My bad. It wont happen again.

--Mikedk9109 12:42, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vic Grimes

I just can't get through to user JB196. He continues to revert the article, reducing its quality claiming that he is not credited as "The Author" in the article itself. The issue is being brought up here [3] help would be greatly appreciated. -- bulletproof 3:16 04:01, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mass Transit incident (ECW)

I'm thinking that this article should be redirected to Eric Kulas, what do you think? Kyros 04:54, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Infobox

i see your adding tag team infoboxes i wondered if you would consider adding a trained by section as many long time tag teams trained together i.e Shane Twins, and London & Kendrick etc... i understand u use them for stables aswell so it couldnt be used on all of them but i think it should be included --- Paulley

another suggestion "billed from" and "hometown" as many tag teams came from and are billed from the smae place... ---Paulley 10:14, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Template:Pro-wrestling

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for cleaning up my template edit and making the template a hell of a lot better! --Targetter (Lock On) 10:08, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] No Mercy 2006

Do you know what happened at No Mercy to have the WWE apologising about William Regal? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by sonicKAI (talkcontribs).

[edit] Re: Photos

You're welcome. I was just thinking about where to find fair-quality free use images, and I thought hey, I have some. So, I just edited them for size and zoomed in a bit. Sure, I can add them to the category as soon as possible. Thanks. --Mikedk9109 (sup) (stalk me) 22:03, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks!

I have seen that you have uploaded the free-use images of Mikedk9109 on Commons! Thanks, now i can use them on Italian Wikipedia and the others of the other Wikipedias can use them! Thanks! Sorry for my bad english. --FrogSplash 19:51, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:EAA11

I gave the user page a Krabs502 tag. Thanks for the heads-up! Duo02 *dilly-dally shilly-shally** 03:00, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deleted Articles

I didn't know only admins could delete articles. Keep the articles deleted though - as that got the majority of the vote. Rely on the talkpage. Sorry about that. Davnel03 21:45, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blocking Articles

It seems like you thought my suggestion was against Wikipedia. I just thought that this would be a good way to get rid of vandalism on some of the PPV articles. Davnel03 21:19, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RAW is Owen

I put this article (along with several other wrestling articles) up for deletion a few days ago. On Sunday, I deleted the others as the main consensus was deletion. However, RAW is Owen had a variety of views, therefore I gave it no consensus and it therefore was kept. I have just tried to get onto the article, but it just redirects to the Owen Hart page. Could somebody of possibly changed it to delete and deleted the article. I'm a bit mystified to why this has happened. Is their any way to reinstate it? Davnel03 18:30, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006

Hey. Any special reason most of the criticisms of the game were removed? Just curious. --TaeKwonTimmy 07:51, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tag Team Partner

Oakster, I need a tag team partner. I'm working on a couple of articles and I was wondering after I made the initial changes, if you would glance through and make corrections. If you go to my user page you will see some of the articles I've worked on and that I've made some serious positive overhauls. Thanks! Kyros 00:27, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

I understand about the exams. I will work on the articles and drop you a message. You can get to it when you get a chance. Thank you. Kyros 17:42, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pictures

Just a quick note to advise you that the author of the photos which I used on the Lisa Marie Varon and Sean Morley (plus assorted others) has changed the license back. Seems like his daughter went to help him upload more wrestling photos to his Flickr page and set the licensing wrong. Tabercil 14:22, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RR 2007

Can you fix the Batista link in the notes section? It should be "Dave Bautista", not "Dave Batista". TJ Spyke 21:05, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
