[edit] Plot synopsis
Oakie Doke was a character who lived in an oak tree (also why he is called Oakie). At the start of the show, one of his friends would ring a bell at the bottom of the tree, therefore waking him up; he would then ride a slide that wound round the trunk of the tree to the bottom. The theme tune would then start, and the episode began. On a typical Oakie Doke episode, there would be a friend who had an everyday problem in the woods, and Oakie would immediately come to their aid. There was usually a dilemma, but he would help them if his other friends bothered to come as well. His friends included: A family of moles (Mum, Marcia and little Milly Mole), a badger, a squirrel, a family of mice (Grandad Albert, Snoot and young Root), the rather mischievous Toad, Moses, and there were more as well. Oakie Doke wore an acorn on his head, and his body was the shape of an Oak leaf. 'His skin' was green, and he always had a little blush.

[edit] Plot flaws
Although Oakie Doke is a much loved programme, there are a few flaws in its plot.
1) Oakie Doke is made of ... acorns!?
2) There is no visable laadder in his tree house, meaning a strenuous walk up a slide angled at 45 degrees every day.
3) He remains at a constant speed while going down his slide, should'nt he speed up!?
4) He waves his hands in the air while sliding down his slide, a safty issue if the intended audience copy him!
