The O'Reilly 300 is a NASCAR Busch Series race that takes place at Texas Motor Speedway. The race was started in 1997 as the Coca-Cola 300 and was won by Mark Martin. It was called the Coca-Cola 300 from 1996-1999 and in 2000 it became the Albertson's 300, In 2001 it became the Jani-King 300. In 2002 the race became the O'Reilly 300 and has been the O'Reilly 300 since. In 2005, Texas Motor Speedway was rewarded a second Busch Series event in November called the O'Reilly Challenge. In 2006, Kurt Busch won the O'Reilly 300 on April, 8th 2006 in a green-white-checker finish, winning his 1st career Busch Series race in his first start.
