  • Since the orgin of that screenshot is pretty obscure to anyone not familiar with Gundam, and even to those that are, the mirror on that colony has just been severed with explosives in order to cause the rotation of the colony to take the colony into it's accompanying colony. This was done to change the orbit in preparation for a colony drop as part of Operation Stardust in October 0083.
