[edit] Country Music

I saw your message to me on my talk page. Could you please tell me what is the benefits of signing up for the Wikiproject of Country Music?

I like lots of the mainstream singers but my favorite would be Alan Jackson, with Sugarland being my favorite group.

Thanks, Faris b 08:12, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the info. I know what you mean now. But what exactly does one do when they've signed up? I've fixed up and built up a lot of singers' pages, among them being Collin Raye, Chad Brock, SheDAISY, Brooks & Dunn (A better singles chart) and such. You can check my edit history for a full list.

Thanks for the info, I guess I can sign up for it then.

[edit] Rascal Flatts singles

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was thinking, especially since the radio announcer was asking people to call in and vote if they like it or not for airplay.

Thanks again.

[edit] Billboard.com?

I am wondering, are you registered at billboard.com/.biz? Because I am checking their charts for the county songs every week at http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/charts/chart_display.jsp?f=Hot+Country+Songs&pageNumber=Top+1-10&g=Singles and you can only see the top 25 instead of the full chart without joining the site, membership is far too expensive for someone like me ([$300] esp. since I only check the country charts and you can only buy membership for everything, not certain charts) and I am looking for someone who can email me a text version of the page so I can keep up every week or so.

Let me know if you're a member.

Thanks,

Faris b 22:58, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply, I am aware of what the top 25 songs are but I was hoping to get the full charts. What media player gives you access to charts?

I would join that site if there was a way to just be a member to view the country charts only but they don't seem to have selective membership.

Thanks,

[edit] Casey Rivers

I got your message to me. Please tell me more, how long ago did you create the article? I can't find one on wiki now. I think because he was just on Nashville Star and was eliminated from the show, perhaps the Wiki administrators deleted the page. To have an article on wiki, it must be notable. Sorry, I don't seem to be helping, you can try to create the page again and make it look better, I'll help you work on it, just send me a message when you make it again, if it gets deleted again, then it doesn't look like he'll have his own page.

[edit] Contest invitation

Cool, thanks! I've signed up. Did you get the Casey Rivers problem resolved?

[edit] Reply

Unfortunately, I don't know how one would make an award. But I guess you could work with something like this:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:FILMSTAR

And modify it somewhat just like how you made the Rascal Flatts user box (Nice job!), but do a search first to see if anything better is availabe. I'm not too good at searching for such things.

Anyway, sorry, I don't have an X box live account.

[edit] Rascal Flatts contest

Sorry, I don't know any wikipedians who like Rascal Flatts persay. But you could check the edit history on their wiki article and see how often they edit the page and send the people who edit it frequently (more than 3 times) the invitation. Sorry for the delay.

Faris b 14:21, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

I fixed the due date of your contest on the page from 2/2/07 to 3/3/07 just so you know. What do you want to do about the contest? Are you still holding it? It seems no one else has entered yet.

[edit] Followup

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully, more people will sign on by March 3rd.

[edit] Username change

Just letting you know, my username is now Vala M. I setup a redirect (or at least I tried) on my old username.

[edit] Canceled

Well, I'm sorry to hear that. I was looking forward to it. Why do you think it never caught on?

[edit] My Worst Fear

Yeah I did post it, why? It never charted as a single but I've seen the video for it online.

Vala M 12:46, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Ok. No, I said I never saw the video before the day I said I saw it. At least, that's what I thought I said. Anyway, did you see in on CMT/GAC? I wasn't a big CMT/GAC watcher back then. I was more of a radio person.

What else is new these days?

Vala M 23:41, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

I don't know, I guess I meant did you think of any new Rascal Flatts contests or something like that? Make anymore music related pages or anything like that?
