O'Briens Irish Sandwich Bars although commonly known as O'Briens is a large franchise sandwich chain founded in 1988 by Brody Sweeney. Initially only in Ireland, the chain is now operating over 270 Sandwich Bar outlets in Australia, China, Denmark, England, Gibraltar, India, Indonesia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, The Netherlands and Wales. The company is rapidly expanding into other areas with plans to open 60 Juice Bars over the next 12 months.
