Template talk:Nysr box

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This box is being used inconsistently and what exactly constitutes preceeded and succeeded?

Example:

32 is preceeded by 31 and suceeded by 33. What about 31A, 31E, 31F, and 32A? Does this just mean what place on the numeric list this route holds regardless of Alphas? I don't see the value. --Censorwolf 21:03, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

The suffixed routes would ideally be prominently linked from the parent. Or they'd all be in sequence. I don't know which way would be better. --SPUI (talk - don't use sorted stub templates!) 21:09, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
I'll update the template on New York State Highway 32 right now. --Kuroki Mio 2006 21:31, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
The idea is for former routes to go below. Suffixed routes are either in the box as normal routes or not in at all. --SPUI (talk - don't use sorted stub templates!) 22:05, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
I thought prefixed and suffixed routes went below a non-pre/suffixed number... --Kuroki Mio 2006 00:15, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
Not in the way I had been doing other states - there's nowhere to put former routes if you put those below. Feel free to play around with the template though. --SPUI (talk - don't use sorted stub templates!) 00:19, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
