NxStage Medical, Inc. is a publically traded company (NASDAQ: NXTM) located in Lawrence, Massachusetts. It is a medical device company that develops, manufactures and markets systems for the treatment of end-stage renal disease, acute kidney failure and fluid overload. It received an "honorable mention" in the Wall Street Journal's 2006 Technology Innovation Awards.
